Health Finance
The Health Finance module of the Consumer Health Management Center provides tools to improve management of individual and family healthcare finances, fostering consumer empowerment in obtaining greater value with healthcare dollars. Financial self-management reports, alerts and recommendations are automatically produced and delivered to the consumer. The report areas include:
- Spending Accounts- covering Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts
- Health Plan Expenses- covering diagnostics, treatments and other medical expenses incurred as well as vision and dental expenditures
- Prescription Drugs - covering current and past prescription history with cost savings alerts and recommendations
On-demand advisory services and tools are available to the consumer. The services include:
- Medical Bill Reviewer - review, appeal and contest claims' adjudication on-line and with staff assistance if needed
- Health Plan Selector- ease open enrollment decisions through automated analysis to identify the best available plan choice based upon the individual's and family's own health history and experience
- Health Budget Planner- estimate costs of non-covered services for FSA planning; estimate charges for future medical procedures and prescriptions
- HSA Financial Planner- receive advise from a qualified advisor on optimizing your Health Savings Account
